Food Adjectives in English:
 
1. Mushy - refers food that has been overcooked (particularly vegetables). They absorb a lot of water and become very soft and mushy when processed.

2. Chewy - used to describe food (usually meat) that is difficult to chew and requires a lot of chewing.

3. Stale - used to describe food that is no longer fresh ( Ex. stale bread, stale chappathis).

4. Rancid - used to describe oily foods that are not fresh (Ex. rancid butter).

5. Rotten - used to describe meat, vegetables and fruits that have gone bad.
